A homeless man suspects he may be involved in the kidnapping and murder of a young girl

The Driver has spent the last several years living out of his car. Scrounging to survive, he wastes his days cruising the city and listening to the radio.

A citywide search is underway for a missing girl. But the Driver is too busy wallowing in regret over his own lost family to pay it any attention.

While browsing a stolen newspaper he spots a Driver Wanted ad. He races to the address listed but finds only a locked door. From the other side an unseen man slides him an envelope and set of instructions.

If the Driver delivers the envelope to a certain house at a certain time he’ll receive $200. The only condition is he cannot open the envelope UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

The Driver follows his orders and pockets some easy cash. He even scores the chance to repeat the process a few days later.

But this time he misses his deadline. And the next morning the missing girl is found dead.

Could just be just an unfortunate coincidence?

But cop cars are stationed outside the house he delivered envelopes to. And the address where he received his orders is suddenly vacant.

Afraid he’s complicit in the murder the Driver is wracked by guilt with no way to redeem himself.

Until a second girl goes missing.

Now the Driver takes action.  He retraces his steps, scouring the city for the creep behind the mysterious envelopes.

Can he find him in time? Or will he end up with the death of another child on his conscience?

THE SOUND OF WAVES

JENNA divides her time between planning her same sex marriage with her partner TESS and pursuing an acting career.

Two weeks before the wedding she auditions for a new play. The character loses her boyfriend after coming out to him as bisexual in college.  Having gone through similar circumstances, Jenna feels like the part was written for her.

She nails the audition and is cast in the role.

At the first rehearsal she meets her co-star ETHAN. In addition to acting he also wrote the play.

And he just so happens to be Jenna’s ex-boyfriend from college.

Suddenly Jenna realizes why the part seems so right for her. Ethan based his play on their relationship. The character is perfect for her because it is her.

Jenna is furious. Ethan owns up to the truth but argues he has just as much right to tell their story as she does to keep it private.

Eventually Jenna agrees to stick with the show on the condition that Ethan allows some changes that incorporate her side of the story.

Soon the ex-lovers find themselves leaving their current partners at home to spend time together, rewriting the story of their relationship.

In the process both realize where they failed a decade earlier and begin to speculate if their feelings for each other may still linger.

As the lines between fiction and reality are blurred, Jenna and Ethan struggle with notions of authorship, loyalty and sexuality.
